Painter & Craftsman
Hunter Ricks
Hunter lived in Brazil for seven years and met Ester in Belo Horizonte. They recently moved to the States, bringing a love of Brazilian nature and creative culture into this next chapter.
He’s fluent in Portuguese. If that’s how you’d rather talk about your project, he’d be happy to.
An agency owner and software engineer, Hunter’s background in digital marketing includes work with Fortune 500 companies and businesses in the trades and home services.
He started Pinx to step away from the computer screen, work with his hands and turn a fresh idea into something you can see and feel.
Color Consultant & Interior Designer
Ester Ricks
Ester is from Belo Horizonte, Brazil, where she and Hunter met. She has a gift for taking simple, everyday things and making them beautiful. At Pinx, she brings that eye to color, interiors and the little details that make a space feel personal.
She also owns a floral arrangement business, creating flowers and decorations for events and custom orders.
Her inspiration comes from God’s beauty in nature, with Brazilian landscapes and culture part of the story. She’s the person who really does stop to smell the roses, finding something worth noticing in a leaf, a bloom or an unexpected color.
